Catalogue. I was very impressed with their variety after a visit to the gardens in their previous location. They moved to the Bruderheim area east of Fort Saskatchewan this spring. I have not visited them at their new site. Directions: from 4-way stop at Bruderheim, proceed east on Hwy. 45 for 9.2km (6 miles). Driveway is on left hand side directly across from Township Road 564. Please call ahead to make arrangements to visit the gardens at times other than their special open houses.

Tam Andersen also frequently gives courses on various aspects of gardening. I have always found the staff to be very helpful and the quality of their plants to be reliable. They are located approximately 1 mile north of Highway 28 on the Lily Lake Road just east of Bon Accord. They also have U-Pick strawberries in season.

Bev Taylor operates an interesting smaller greenhouse that is only open during bedding plant season from the Mothers' Day weekend in May to the middle of June. Monday to Saturday from 9am to 9pm; Sunday Noon to 6pm. They grow their own plants from seed. When I was there they had a wide variety of the less common tomato plants as well as most of the usual ones. Reasonable prices. They have been in business for 20 years.
