This part of the garden is devoted to information about bonsai. Here you will find instructions for joining a bonsai IRC chat group. Soon there will be some photos, information about a bonsai email list and some links to other bonsai sites on the internet.

The Bonsai Chats are open to anyone who is interested in bonsai. The chatters include people who are just starting to learn about bonsai as well as those who are very knowledgable and experienced. You will find the people in this chat generally very helpful and friendly.

These chats are held every Monday and Thursday at 8:00p.m. Eastern Time (North American time zones). This translates to Tuesday and Friday at 0300 UTC (or Greenwich time). (I think. Daylight Savings Time may throw that out a bit.)

The link below gives you access to the bonsai chat using your browser. You will get a security warning. It safe to click "GRANT" as this java applet is provided by Starchat, the network where the chat is located. You will then see a blue window. The rest of the instructions are on the chat page.
